Moving to a new country made me felt like I had to do things 'British enough' to be able to fit in, all my old pastimes such as karaoke, hotpot etc were 'too asian' to be able to fit in. However, as time passes, I realise that it is posing so much pressure to make myself fit in. I slowly realise that it is actually not as complicated as I make it, I don't have to change my identity to fit in. Somedays I can just do my asian pass times, somedays I can just do the British pastimes, just as long as I am happy.
